White Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 TBSP. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. marshmallow creme
    1/3 c. candies fruit, chopped (opt.)
Preparation
    Combine the milk, water, sugar, salt and butter.
    Mix thoroughly in a 3 qt. saucepan.
    Heat to the boiling point over med. heat.
    Cook to softball stage - 236 F., stirring constantly. A full rolling boil should be maintained throughout.
    Remove from the heat and cool at room temperature without stirring, until lukewarm (110\u00b0).
    Add the vanilla, beat until mixture snaps and holds its shape.
    Add the marshmallow creme and fruit, if desired. Beat again until mixture loses it's gloss and is very stiff. Quickly spread into 8 in. square buttered pan.
