Hamburger Pie - cooking recipe

9-inch unbaked pastry shell
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. mayo
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. or 1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/3 c. diced onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Brown meat in skillet over medium heat; drain fat and set aside.
Blend mayo, milk, eggs and cornstarch until smooth. Stir in meat, cheese, onion and pepper.
Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown on top, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
