Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. cooking oil
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 well beaten eggs
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    3 c. peeled and chopped fresh apples
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, lemon juice and salt in a mixing bowl.
    Beat well.
    Mix flour and soda.
    Add to first mixture and beat again.
    Add apples and pecans; mix well.
    Bake in tube type pan which has been greased and dusted with flour.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    (Bundt pan is also good to bake in.
    Good without icing.)
