Squash With Cheese Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium yellow squash
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. breadcrumbs
    paprika
Preparation
    Cut squash; cook in salted water until tender; drain and place in buttered baking dish.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Melt margarine. Add salt, flour and milk; cook until it thickens, stirring constantly.
    Add grated cheese; stir until melted.
    Pour sauce over the squash and mix slightly.
    Top with breadcrumbs; sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake in a moderately hot oven until top is brown.
