Governor'S Egg Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
3 c. grated sharp cheese
2 c. crushed potato chips (approximately 6 oz.)
18 hard-boiled eggs
26 slices crisp bacon, chopped
Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender.
Blend in flour and add milk.
Cook until thick.
Add the cheese and stir until melted. In a 9 x 13-inch casserole, make layers of sliced eggs, cheese sauce, potato chips and bacon.
Repeat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
May be refrigerated and baked next day.
Yields 12 servings.
