Baked Limas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried lima beans
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of sugar
    2 Tbsp. Schmaltz or butter
    1/2 c. tomato catsup
Preparation
    Bring limas to a boil in water.
    Add salt and sugar.
    Reduce heat and cook slowly until limas are very tender (about 1 1/2 hours).
    Drain beans.
    Place in 2-quart casserole.
    Stir in butter and catsup.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until limas are delicately browned and crusty on top (about 1 hour).
    Serves 6 to 8.
