Hollendacke Ragge Brood(Holland Rye Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. syrup
    3/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    5 c. broken rye
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Add 3 cups boiling water.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Bake in 250\u00b0 oven 2 1/2 hours, longer if needed. Cover with a pan of the same size.
    Put cup of water in oven while baking.
