Pecan Logs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk
    3 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1/2 lb. caramels (about 28 pieces)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat milk, sugar and flavoring until smooth.
    Knead and shape into logs (4), each about 5 inches long.
    Place on waxed paper. Melt caramels, butter and water in top of double boiler.
    Pour onto logs, a little at a time.
    Roll in nuts.
