Sour Cream Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cream-style corn
1/2 c. corn oil
1 large egg
Preparation

Pour 1/4 cup of the corn oil into baking dish and warm in preheated 450\u00b0 oven.
Mix remaining ingredients, including the remaining 1/4 cup corn oil.
Pour mixture into heated baking dish. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 400\u00b0 until brown, approximately 40 minutes.
