Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 medium size squash
    1 small onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    shredded Cheddar cheese
    Italian bread crumbs
Preparation
    Saute squash and onions until slightly tender.
    Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream and cream of mushroom.
    In a casserole dish layer squash and onions, sour cream mixture and cheese.
    Repeat layers topping with cheese and bread crumbs.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
    Bake, uncovered, the last 10 minutes to brown the bread crumbs.
