Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. sweet milk
1 small onion

Preparation

Mince onion fine.
Mix all ingredients together well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls in deep fat fryer.
Fry until golden brown.
