Raspberry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen raspberries
    1/3 to 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. almond extract
    freshly whipped cream
    toasted almond slivers
Preparation
    Stir raspberries, water, cornstarch and sugar over medium heat until thick and clear.
    Remove from heat and add extract.
    Pour into stemmed dishes and chill.
    Serve topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of almonds.
    Serves 4.
