Angel Food Cake With Amaretto Almond Sauce* * * * * - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. water
4 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 Tbsp. Amaretto
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. almonds, sliced
1/2 tsp. almond extract
8 slices commercial angel food cake

Preparation

We have a son-in-law who loves this Smoked Turkey so much that he would raid the refrigerator for leftovers even after eating a big meal.
You don't need a covered grill to make it.
Just tent the grill and turkey with foil and make a vent hole over the turkey.
The turkey should never be directly over the coals.
The cooking is done entirely by indirect heat.
