Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 3/4 c. to 2 c. dry roasted peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Grease cookie sheet; mix sugar and corn syrup in a 4-cup measure (glass).
    Cook on High 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Cook 2 to 2 1/2 minutes longer (I usually cook 2 1/2 minutes).
    Blend in baking soda, stir until light and foamy; spread on cookie sheet.
