Mexican Cornbread With Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cream corn
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 onion, chopped
    4 jalapenos, chopped
    8 oz. grated cheese
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix corn, cornmeal, milk, eggs, bacon drippings, soda and salt. Brown meat and onions. Drain meat and add peppers. Add cheese. Pour 1/2 of batter in iron skillet and add meat on top of batter. Then pour remaining batter over meat. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
