Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. bacon grease or oil
    3 jalapeno peppers
    1 can creamed corn
    1 large link pepperoni, cut or diced
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 onion, chopped
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add bacon grease, corn and buttermilk. Add pepperoni, jalapeno pepper and onion.
    Beat eggs slightly and add to mixture.
    Put 1/2 of mixture into well greased pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cheese.
    Pour the remaining mixture in pan and remaining cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
