Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 (8 oz.) ears garden fresh corn
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1 tsp. sugar (optional)
    dash of black pepper
Preparation
    Cut corn kernels and scrape milk from cobs.
    Melt fats in heavy iron skillet.
    Add corn and seasonings.
    Stir constantly as it cooks.
    Use low heat and cook until it is thick and tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
