New England Boiled Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. corned beef brisket
6 peeled medium potatoes
6 peeled medium carrots
2 peeled medium onions, quartered
1 small head cabbage, quartered
Preparation

In a 6-quart pot, cover corned beef with water and boil until tender, approximately 4 hours.
Skim off fat and add carrots, onions and potatoes.
Cook 15 minutes.
Add cabbage and cook 30 minutes more or until vegetables are tender.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
