Quick Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 onions, peeled and chopped
    1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 bay leaf, crushed
    1/8 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. powdered savory
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
    2 (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    salt and pepper
    1 lb. thin spaghetti, cooked
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in large skillet and lightly brown meat.
    Add onion, garlic, oregano, bay leaf, basil, savory, nutmeg and light brown sugar; simmer 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer, stirring now and then for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste and slowly cook 5 minutes more.
    Serve sauce over spaghetti cooked by package directions and well drained.
    Makes about 6 servings.
