Honey-Nut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
2/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. finely chopped almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts or pecans
2 Tbsp. honey, warmed (for decoration)
assorted whole nuts (for decoration)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, beat butter and brown sugar 5 to 8 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; beat until blended.
Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a medium bowl.
Stir flour mixture into egg mixture alternately with milk, stirring until combined.
Fold in chopped nuts.
