Date Cream Cheese Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted dates
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and cream cheese.
    Add flour and salt; divide into fourths.
    Chill 2 hours.
    Work one portion and roll 1/8-inch thick on a surface dusted with powdered sugar.
    Cut dough in 3 x 1-inch strips.
    Place a date in center of each roll-up strip.
    At 375\u00b0, bake for 15 minutes.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm, then again when cool.
