Cherry Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dates, chopped
1 lb. pecans, chopped
1/2 lb. candied cherries, cut
1/2 lb. candied pineapple, cut
1 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Combine fruit and nuts in a large bowl.
In another bowl, mix eggs, sugar and dry ingredients.
Blend well.
Pour creamed mixture over fruit.
Mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan or loaf pans or cupcake papers.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven 1 1/4 hours or until done.
Cool in pan.
Remove and wrap.
Soak in fruit juice or wine.
Store in refrigerator.
