Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla (imitation)
    1 c. pecans (or as desired)
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Cook on medium heat until mixture forms soft ball, when tested in cold water.
    When this happens, turn off heat, add imitation vanilla and let stay on stove for a few minutes, until mixture stops bubbling.
    Remove from stove. Add peanut butter and nuts.
    Beat until creamy.
    Pour into buttered platter.
