Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
Make a paste of cocoa and food coloring.
Add to mixture.
Fold flour, vanilla, buttermilk and salt into mixture.
Mix vinegar and soda together and fold into batter.
Beat as you would any other cake.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in two 9-inch round pans for 30 to 35 minutes (or as a sheet cake).
