Turkey Frame Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 meaty turkey frame
    3 qt. water
    1 onion, quartered
    2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
4 c. fresh vegetables (I use chopped carrots, onions and celery)
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. uncooked medium noodles
Preparation
Break frame and place in large Dutch oven with water, onion and salt.
Bring to boil, then reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Remove frame; when cool enough to handle, cut off meat and coarsely chop.
    Discard bones.
Strain broth; discard solids. Return broth to Dutch oven.
Stir in cut up meat, undrained tomatoes, bouillon granules, oregano, thyme and pepper.
    Stir in fresh vegetables.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Stir in noodles; simmer, uncovered, 8 to 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
This is a good way to use your leftover holiday turkey.
