Busy Person Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. egg noodles
    1 lb. ground round
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. lite sour cream
    2 Tbsp. poppy seed
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook noodles.
    In large skillet, cook meat and onions in butter or margarine until meat is brown and onions are transparent, stirring to cook evenly.
    Add flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
    Cook for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Add soup; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Lower heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 12 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Drain noodles and stir in poppy seed and 1 tablespoon butter.
    Serve meat over noodles.
