Six Week Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. all-bran type cereal
    2 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    1 c. oil
    3 c. sugar
    5 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk or milk soured with 1/4 c. vinegar (use 1/4 c. less milk)*
Preparation
    * Let souring milk and vinegar stand at least 5 minutes before using.
