Almond Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. blanched, slivered almonds
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large frying pan over low heat.
    Add other ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until dark golden brown.
    Spread onto buttered foil and let cool.
