Skier'S French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread, cut into thick slices
    1 stick butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook butter, brown sugar and corn syrup until sugar melts. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Layer cut up bread on top of syrup mixture in pan.
    Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and nutmeg-cinnamon.
    Pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve with fresh fruit.
    Serves 6.
