Sweet Potatoes Sonker - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in water, sugar and vanilla; have the water over potatoes.
    Butter your pan around the sides.
    Make your dough as making biscuits.
    Pinch off a little and pat out and line the pan with the dough that you have buttered.
    Put your potatoes in the pan.
    Put butter on the potatoes.
    Cover the potatoes with some more dough.
    When you have this covered, put more butter and sprinkle with sugar.
    Put in oven and cook until it is good and brown.
    Take out and put on top of the stove and let it boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Add 1/2 cup of milk and let it boil for another 5 minutes.
    When this is done, let it cool.
