Pasta Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    3/4 tsp. basil leaves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    grated Parmesan cheese
    1 c. each: fresh mushrooms, squash and broccoli flowerets
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. chicken flavor instant bouillon
    1 c. half and half
    hot cooked fettucini
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender; stir in flour until smooth.
    Add water, carrots, bouillon and basil; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Add mushrooms, squash and broccoli; cook 5 minutes.
    Add half and half and pepper; cook and stir until slightly thickened.
    Serve over fettucini.
    Garnish with cheese if desired.
