Cream Wafers And Creamy Butter Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. whipping cream
    2 c. flour
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Mix butter, cream and flour (sifted).
    Chill 1 hour.
    Roll 1/3 dough 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured cloth covered board.
    Cut into 1 1/2-inch rounds.
    Transfer to waxed paper heavily coated with sugar, turn to coat both sides.
    Place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Prick in 4 places with fork.
    Bake 5 to 7 minutes or until slightly puffy.
