Melissa'S Favorite Butterscotch Raisin Cookies(Jumbo Recipe; Makes 6 To 8 Dozen) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. light butter/shortening
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. ground oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg or allspice
24 oz. butterscotch chips or chocolate
1 c. golden raisins or nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream first 4 ingredients, then add remaining.
Drop golf ball size cookies on baking sheets sprayed with baking spray 3 inches apart (1 dozen per tray).
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove and cool even if they look uncooked when you're pulling them out of the oven.
They harden when they cool and are easy to overbake.
Cook and store in airtight container.
