Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. plain flour
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Gradually add sugar and vanilla.
    Beat well. Blend in melted butter.
    (Blend cocoa in melted butter before adding to egg mixture.)
    Before adding flour, mix flour, salt and baking powder together, then add to egg mixture.
    Stir until well blended.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread in a greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from sides.
    Cool in pan.
