Cajun Beignets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    pinch of baking soda
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
    Add milk and egg and mix well.
    Drop by spoonfuls into deep fat (oil) heated to 375\u00b0.
    Fry until golden.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Serve with syrup and butter.
