French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bread, cut in half
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. grated orange or lemon rind
Preparation
    Beat eggs, milk, salt, sugar, vanilla and rind together.
    Heat butter in frying pan.
    Have egg mixture in shallow flat dish.
    Soak bread mixture and brown on both sides.
    Serve with syrup or powdered sugar.
