Granny Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine (room temperature)
    1 c. Crisco
    6 large eggs (room temperature)
    1 tsp. vanilla, mixed with milk
    1 c. milk
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Sift together the flour and salt.
    Mix sugar, margarine and Crisco until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each; alternately add dry ingredients and milk and vanilla, beating after each.
    Pour in a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until it tests done with toothpick.
