Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    water (after emptying whipping cream, fill carton with water plus 1/2 carton extra for 3 layer cake)
    3 c. sugar
    4 c. sifted Martha White self-rising flour
    vanilla flavoring
    coconut flavoring
Preparation
    Grease or spray pans.
    Beat egg whites, whipping cream, 2 1/2 cups sugar and water.
    Slowly add flour beating as you go.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Grate coconut after taking milk.
    Use milk from coconut, add with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar (having about 3/4 cup altogether).
    Bring to boil long enough to dissolve sugar.
    Slowly drizzle over layers.
    Make fluffy white frosting. Frost cake; cover with grated coconut.
    Use 9-inch pans.
