Diabetic Fruit Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. dates
1/2 c. prunes
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 stick margarine or butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Boil dates,
prunes
and raisins in water.
Add butter. Mix eggs, soda, salt, flour, vanilla and nuts.\tLet fruit cool before adding flour
mixture.
Bake in 7 x 11-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
If
you
want
spicy
bars
add
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
