Aunt Lee'S Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. grits (quick cooking)
    5 1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 sticks oleo
    3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Add salt
    to water.
    Bring to boil and add grits.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Remove
    from heat and add the next 4 ingredients.
    Beat eggs
    until
    frothy and fold into grits.
    Bake 45 minutes at 325\u00b0. Fill casserole half full.
