No-Fail Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. canned milk
    1 1/4 sticks margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring sugar, milk and butter to a boil; boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add baking soda and vanilla.
    Beat until stiff enough to spread.
    (Beat well.) Yield:
    Frosting for three 8-inch layers.
