Yellow Cake With Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine flour and sugar in large bowl.
    Add shortening and 2/3 of the milk.
    Beat 2 minutes
    at medium speed.
    Add remaining milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat 2 minutes longer.
    Pour into greased and floured pans and bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans.
    Cool completely before icing.
