Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    12 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    paprika
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender (approximately 25 minutes).
    Cut potatoes into 1/8-inch slices.
    Cook onion and butter in 2-quart saucepan until onion is tender.
    Stir in flour, pepper and salt. Cook over low heat until bubbly.
    Add milk and 3/4 of the cheese. Heat to boiling.
    Boil and stir for 1 minute.
