Chicken Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (2 to 3 lb.) chickens
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. canned tomatoes and green chiles, chopped
    1 onion, finely chopped
    12 corn tortillas
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place chickens in a large pot and cover with water.
    Simmer 1 hour or until tender.
    Remove chicken and reserve broth.
    Skin and bone chicken; set aside.
