Virginia'S Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1/2 onion, chopped (optional)
    salt and pepper, to taste
    dash hot sauce, to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients (except topping) together.
    Put in large casserole dish.
