Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box Ritz crackers
    2 (15 oz.) cans asparagus spears
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put a layer of crackers in a 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole.
    Drain asparagus; save juice.
    Spread one can asparagus spears on the layer of crackers.
    Spread 1/2 pound of the grated cheese over the asparagus.
    Dilute soup with 1/2 can of water and/or juice from the asparagus.
    Pour 1 cup of diluted soup over cheese.
    Repeat directions to make a second layer of ingredients.
    Crush or crumble enough Ritz crackers to make a layer covering the mixture.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Serves 6 to 8.
