Hamburger Oriental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size onions
    6 Tbsp. bacon drippings or cooking oil
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    1 medium head cabbage
    pinch of salt
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 1/2 Tbsp. curry powder
Preparation
    Cut onions into half rings.
    Fry in bacon drippings.
    Crumble up bouillon cubes and add these to the onions.
    Quarter cabbage, then slice it sideways into onion-ring-width strips, no more than 1/2-inch wide.
    Add to onion mixture.
    Stir well so that all cabbage slices are coated with oil.
    Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Sprinkle salt over cabbage; reduce heat and cook, covered, 10 to 15 minutes.
    Stir cabbage mixture from time to time.
