Sour Cream Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    2 cans tomato sauce
    dash of pepper
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package.
    Drain; rinse with hot water.
    In 2 tablespoons shortening, brown beef, stirring with fork.
    Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce.
    Mix well. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes.
    Combine sour cream, cottage cheese and green onions.
    Mix well.
    Add cooked noodles; mix lightly.
    Place half of noodles in a well-greased casserole. Cover with 1/2 of meat; repeat layers.
    Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
