Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 crookneck yellow squash
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 carrot, shredded
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 stack saltine crackers
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
Preparation
    Steam squash until tender.
    Mash squash with a potato masher. In a large bowl combine sour cream, soup, shredded carrot and chopped onion.
    Stir in squash.
    Pour mixture into a casserole dish.
    Top with crushed crackers and then butter or margarine. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
