Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, flour and salt thoroughly. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until set but not brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar, while still warm, roll again. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
